Tracking wood from Finland

We have shipments arriving to the port in Manila almost every week.  We are sometimes asked about our claim that, in Finland, the wood that is hewn from logs can be tracked back to the exact stump where it was harvested.

In this article, found at: http://www.forest.fi/smyforest/foresteng.nsf/0/3E4920389C5A0AF4C225724100376E6D?Opendocument

you can read about the tracking of wood from Finland.

It is interesting to note in this article that, "There does not exist any illegal logging in Finland."  Since we import to the Philippines, it is nice to know that there is an available alternative that is not only strong, sustainable, and affordable, but that it is held up to the highest harvesting and processing standards.
